United States Incidence : In 2023, there were 9,633 reported TB cases in the United States, with an incidence rate of 2.9 cases per 100,000 population. This is an increase from 2022, when there were 8,320 cases and an incidence rate of 2.5 cases per 100,000 population. The highest incidence rates in the United States are in California, New York, and Alaska. Trends : Global TB incidence has been declining in recent years, but it increased slightly in 2021 and 2022.
